When TrollStore was released, a few developers created apps to replace the Home Screen icons with jailbreak themes. TrollTools, Mugunghwa, and BlizzardBoard are iOS 15 theming engines that work without jailbreak on TrollStore compatible devices.

TrollStore app takes the advantage of the CoreTrust bypass by Linus Henze, and it allows you to install IPA files with root access on your iPhone. This feature is used by Mugunghwa, BlizzardBoard, and TrollTools Theming engines to replace icons on iOS 14.0 up to iOS 15.4.0.

Beta Compatibility: iOS 15.5 beta 1 – iOS 15.5 beta 4, iOS 15.6 beta 1 – iOS 15.6 beta 4. No other firmware releases are or will be supported. No support for iOS 15.5, no support for iOS 15.6, and no support for iOS 16. Theming is possible because there is a bug in iOS.

TrollStore iOS Themes

Themes for TrollStore are released as a DEB packages that can be easily downloaded and extracted using the PostBox repository browser. Then you can import or share them to your favorite theming engine for iOS 15 mentioned below. Because of the limitations of the exploit, system apps are replaced with shortcuts (duplicates) that doesn't support badges.

Themes Repositories

To find and download all themes, add to PostBox sources following repositories URLs. The repositories also contain paid icons packages that may or may not work with TrollStore theming engines. Ask the designer about compatibility with your favorite tool before purchasing.

  1. Open PostBox app from the Home Screen.
  2. Tap on the Repositories button and import repos.
  3. Paste the theme repository URL to the app.
  4. From the Repositories page and refresh all sources.
  5. The list of available packages will be available from main screen.

Note: PostBox repository browser allows you not only to navigate through categories in repositories, but also search for packages, including paid and free themes. Themes Repositories contain a thousand of icon themes, and those above are just a few examples.

Theming engines for iOS

TrollTools for TrollStore is a iOS 15 customization tool, allowing you among others to use jailbreak themes on stock iOS. This is probably the most advanced theming engine, replacing icons natively and with web clips support for system apps. iOS 14 is also supported.

Mugunghwa is a small (3 MB) app that brings some tweaks to your iPhone without the need to jailbreak your device. It can be installed on all devices supported by TrollStore running between iOS 15.0 and iOS 15.5 beta 4. No other firmware releases will be supported in the feature.

BlizzardBoard (BlizzBoard) is a small theming engine for iOS 15 & iOS 14 that can be installed on all devices compatible with TrollStore. This app can change all icons on the Home Screen with just one tap of a finger. Unlike the Shortcuts method, it works automatically for all installed apps.
