KBApp tweak: Add modules and apps to keyboard on iOS

KBApp

There have been rumors that Apple may revolutionize their keyboard by utilizing the free space at the bottom to display emojis, useful keyboard shortcuts, or maybe app icons. However, jailbroken devices have been enjoying these features for years. With KBApp, you can bring a range of modules to your keyboard on Dopamine with iOS 15.

Add KBApp Repo to your package manager and install the tweak:

What is KBApp?

KBApp is a jailbreak tweak that can be downloaded for free, and it offers a convenient way to arrange apps on the bottom of your keyboard. Additionally, the tweak includes useful modules like copy, translate, undo, or select all, which take advantage of the free space. With KBApp, you can enjoy a more efficient typing experience on your iOS 15 jailbroken device.

Once you have completed the installation process for KBApp, a dedicated preference pane will be added to your Settings app. This is where you can customize various aspects of the tweak, such as the starting position of your apps, the spacing between them, the size of the icons, and the distance from the bottom of the screen. With these options, you can tailor KBApp to your personal preferences and create the perfect setup for your typing needs.

Initially, KBApp was created with the aim of displaying shortcuts to frequently-used system and 3rd-party apps. However, the developer went a step further by incorporating additional modules to make typing even more convenient. These modules include essential functions like copy, cut, and paste, as well as select all, translate, dismiss keyboard, undo, redo, move left and right.

KBApp tweak allows you to freely select which modules and apps you want to display on the keyboard's bottom bar by accessing the App Shortcut section in the tweak's preferences. Additionally, you can easily change the positioning of these items by moving them up or down the list. This gives you complete control over the layout of your keyboard.

In addition, KBApp also allows you to add more than five items for quick access on the bottom of your keyboard. When you add more items than can fit on the screen, you can simply swipe from left to right to reveal the hidden ones. This enables you to include even more modules and app shortcuts on your keyboard, providing a comprehensive suite of tools right at your fingertips.

Whether you're looking to maximize your productivity or simply want a more personalized typing experience, KBApp offers a range of customization options to help you achieve your goals.

While KBApp offers a range of convenient modules and app shortcuts for your keyboard, it does not include quick access emojis on the bottom bar. If you're looking for this functionality, you might want to check out another tweak called BarMoji, which is also compatible with rootless jailbreaks. BarMoji can add an additional row of frequently-used emojis to the bottom of your keyboard, providing a fast and easy way to express yourself while typing.
