Choicy tweak configurator for iOS 11 – iOS 15
Sometimes when you install tweaks on a jailbroken device to modify App Store or system apps, it may happen that they will crash. With a tool like Choicy tweak for iOS 10 and up, you can individually configure tweak injection for applications and daemons.
Add Choicy repo to your package manager.
What is Choicy tweak?
Choicy tweak is an advanced tweak configurator for iOS that is often misled as a jailbreak detection bypass tool. It's more like a tool to restrict other things to access apps and tweaks, then the other way around. Recently, Choicy was updated with support for iOS 15.
After installation, Choicy tweak adds a dedicated preference pane to the Settings app from where you can access all available option and individually configure tweak injection per app and demons. Use it to create a white or black list of allowed tweak injections.
Choicy tweak offers an option to configure each tweak dylib for every process individually, disable tweak injection for every process individually, disable tweaks globally (with the ability to set exceptions for individual processes). The tweak works on iOS 10 and up.
On top of that, there is also an option for an application shortcut to launch the application with or without tweaks. This feature is available from the 3D Touch / haptic touch menu when you tap on an app icon from the Home Screen and tap on “Launch without tweaks”.
Applications are automatically restarted when their configuration changes. To apply to changes to SpringBoard configuration, a manual respring is required. To apply new configuration settings to some demons, it might be required to use userspace reboot.
Process Configurator in Choicy allows you to view and manage tweak configuration for applications, daemons, SpringBoard, and additional executables. There is an option to disable tweak injection (turn off all tweaks),or manually select components that should be disabled.
Choicy tweak was developed by @opa334, the same person behind TrollStore IPA installer. It's not a surprise that also this advanced tweak configurator for iOS was released as an open source project under MIT license. The source code of the tweak was written in Objective-C.
Lars Fröder stands that this isn't a jailbreak detection bypass tweak for iOS, but in some cases it can allow you to run apps installed from the App Store with jailbreak detection.
