Mitsuha 6 is a modern version of the Mitsuha Forever jailbreak tweak that brings audio visualizations to the music apps on iOS devices. An unofficial rootless build was released, now we can use an official one. Recently, Ryan Nair updated the tweak with a new name, and most importantly added support for rootless jailbreaks running from iOS 15 to iOS 17. This release finally works with Dopamine and Palera1n.

Key Takeaways

  • Mitsuha 6 is the next version of Mitsuha Forever maintained by Ryan Nair and released as a separate tweak through the Chariz Repository.
  • Ryan Nail updated the Mitsuha Forever tweak and renamed the project to Mitsuha Six. This new package supports rootless jailbreaks from iOS 15 to iOS 17.
  • Another version of the Mitsuha modification is accessible, which was made available by Kevin Müller, a different developer. This version is also compatible with Palera1n and Dopamine jailbreaks.
  • This audio visualizations tweak for iOS 15 and beyond is available as a free update.

With this jailbreak tweak, music visualization in applications like Apple Music and Spotify may be shown in wave, bar, line, dots, or Siri forms. Visualizations are also shown on the Home and Lock Screens. Mitsuha Six is the first official build for rootless jailbreaks on iOS 15, 16, and 17. The tweak is available for free download from the Chariz repository, same as the previous version.

Like the previous version, Mitsuha Six can add audio visualization inside apps such as Apple Music and Spotify, Lock Screen, and Home Screen. After installation, a preference pane is added to the Settings app from where you can configure all options to your liking.

The waveform with frequency instead of amplitude, customization for visualization appearance settings, the number of visualizer points and attributes, dynamic, Siri, and unique color styles, color alphas, positioning, visualizer speed, and sensitivity are among the key features of the Mitsuha 6. The tweaks brings a nice touch to jailbroken iOS.

It took some time before Ryan Nair made the decision to update the Mitsuha tweak for iOS 15 – 16 and iPadOS 17. Nepeta's Mitsuha Infinity tweak was made available as an open source project, which allowed the jailbreak community to take up development sooner. In result, Kevin Müller revised his version of Mitsuha Forever for Dopamine and Palera1n as a consequence.

Mitsubishi visualizer is now available in two customized rootless versions for your selection. Ryan Nair's Mitsuha Six, or zSaaiq's Mitsuha Forever. You can still grab the original c0ldra1n Mitsubishi tweak from BigBoss Repo. Originally published in 2017, this version supported iOS 8.
