Mineland is a Dynamic Island configuration tweak
Huy Nguyen has recently released a new tweak, granting users the ability to adjust the placement of the Dynamic Island on notched devices. While tweaks enabling Dynamic Island typically alter the device's resolution to access this new feature introduced on iPhone 14 Pro and Max running iOS 16, Nguyen's tweak delivers proper implementation. If fixes the issue with Dynamic Island ends up overlapping with the notch.

Mineland tweak was released as a DEB package that can be installed through your favorite tweak manager such as Sileo or Zebra. The latest release fixes the blink issue when hiding the black pill is enabled. Mineland packages were prebuilt for arm64 and arm64e architectures.
What is Mineland?
Mineland is a simple tweak designed to provide users with access to various hidden configuration options of Dynamic Island on iOS 16. Unlike other tweaks, it doesn't directly enable Dynamic Island; rather, it offers the ability to modify specific parameters of this feature, enhancing customization possibilities for users. It's especially useful to change the vertical positioning of the widget. Dynamic Island can be enabled on all devices compatible with iOS 16.
Tailored for notched devices, Mineland bridges the gap by refining the Dynamic Island experience even on devices that are officially unsupported. Upon installation, Mineland seamlessly integrates into the Settings app, providing users with a dedicated preference pane where they can effortlessly configure all options according to their preferences.
Within this interface, users can opt for the default setup, conceal the black pill when inactive, or alter the default preset value, suitable for all devices. Additionally, users can disable the tweak for customized settings, specify a custom position using x and y values, and even scale the Dynamic Island based on the device's screen size. Furthermore, there's an option to set a custom Dynamic Island Alpha, adjusting its transparency to suit individual preferences.
Mineland tweak serves solely as a configuration tool for Dynamic Island. To utilize it, Dynamic Island must first be enabled on iOS 16 through tools like DynamicCow. Dynamic Island functions as a display that showcases alerts and ongoing activities, such as music playback, timers, and active AirDrop connections, whenever your iPhone is unlocked.
DynamicCow was initially released as an IPA package tailored for iOS 16 through iOS 16.1.2, with compatibility limited to MDC devices. However, Matteo Zappia has recently updated the DynamicCow IPA to extend support to all devices running iOS 16 through 16.6.1, as well as iOS 17.0, by executing DynamicCowTS through the TrollStore 2 IPA installer.
To activate Dynamic Island on iOS versions ranging from 16.1.2 to 16.5, as well as iOS 16.6 Beta 1, several tweaks utilize the KFD exploit, such as Canvas and Sizei. Meanwhile, DynamicCowTS extends its support to iOS versions 16.0 through 16.6.1, as well as iOS 17. If you seek an alternative to Dynamic Island, consider the jailbreak tweak Dynamic Peninsula, compatible with iOS 12 through iOS 16 and supported on older devices like the iPhone 6, 7, and 8.
