ColorBoard tweak changes colors on iOS 15 - iOS 16
With the Misaka Tweak Manager, you can enhance your non-jailbroken devices by installing a range of fantastic tweaks. Among these, ColorBoard stands out as one of the most popular and highly regarded options. This remarkable tweak empowers you to effortlessly personalize colors throughout your device's system using a user-friendly preference pane and color picker. It supports all devices running iOS 15 – iOS 16.5.
What is ColorBoard?
ColorBoard is a game-changing tweak designed for non-jailbroken devices. It empowers you to seamlessly modify colors across various system elements, including the Dock, Notifications, folders, Control Center modules, menus, and other background components. Furthermore, ColorBoard offers effortless integration with MDC and KFD, eliminating the need for a jailbreak.
You can easily install this tweak on your iOS 15 and iOS 16 jailed devices using the Misaka package manager. Upon installation, it introduces a dedicated preference pane within the Packages section. Here, you gain full control over the customization of various supported system colors. The wide array of available modifications is thoughtfully categorized.
ColorBoard tweak provides an array of color customization options, enabling you to alter the colors of 3D Touch and Menu, notifications and widgets, notification text and stacking, notification shadow, dock, folders, app library and today view, switcher blur, badges, dynamic island, spotlight, Control Center, and passcode elements to suit your preferences.
Certain color modifications, such as those applied to the Dock, can also impact the colors of the Today View Search and App Library Search, as they share the same color configuration file.
Furthermore, it's important to be aware that due to file size constraints, certain colors are limited to being solid, including options like Red, Green, or Blue. While you can experiment with a selection of the 255 available colors, not all of them will function as intended.
Additionally, it's worth mentioning that altering text color can potentially affect specific text elements within widgets, so some experimentation may be necessary to achieve the desired results. ColorBoard can also change notification badge color on iOS 15.
The tweak has undergone rigorous testing with both FrontBoard and BackBoard, with FrontBoard emerging as the optimal choice for compatibility and performance. For precise color matching, simply tap and hold a color circle, then drag it on top of another to achieve seamless color coordination. To achieve a subtle blurring effect on colors, set the opacity to 50%.
Note: It's important to be aware that KFD exploit on iOS 16.2 – iOS 16.5 may occasionally exhibit an issue where all files are replaced, while other times they remain unaffected.
Please note that due to file size constraints and other technical complexities, the blur effect in ColorBoard tweak has been exclusively applied to certain elements, including the Dock, Folders, Control Center, Notifications, and Widgets, as well as 3D Touch/Menus.
ColorBoard tweak, developed by tyler1029, is conveniently available through the EPOSbox Repository. It boasts compatibility with all supported devices operating on iOS versions ranging from 15.0 to iOS 15.7.1, as well as iOS 16.0 to iOS 16.5, including the release of iOS 16.6 Beta 1.
Accessing and installing the ColorBoard tweak is a straightforward process, as it comes preinstalled with Misaka, ensuring a hassle-free customization experience. If you make too many changes, ColorBoard can be easily restarted to default system values.
