Blossom for TrollStore
With the launch of iOS 17, Apple brought back the ability to use Live Photos as wallpapers. To enhance this feature, Blossom for TrollStore was developed, allowing users to replace the Live Photo with a custom video clip up to 5 seconds long. Crop your video to your phone screen resolution beforehand.
Blossom is only compatible with iOS 17.0 and won't function on any other version of the firmware. Additionally, it must be installed using the TrollStore IPA Installer.
Blossom IPA Download: Get the Latest Version
Blossom comes as an IPA file that you can download and import into TrollStore. You can grab the latest version from our website or use the direct Install option to automatically add the app to TrollStore. Just remember, for the direct install to work, you'll need to enable the URL Scheme in TrollStore's settings.
What is Blossom?
Blossom is a simple app designed for iOS 17.0, allowing you to swap out the Live Photo on your Lock Screen with your own video file. To create a looping effect for live wallpapers, the app repeatedly crashes the PhotosPosterProvider process. However, your video must not exceed 5 seconds in length.
Once installed with TrollStore, Blossom will be available from the Home Screen as a regular app. It offers only two options, one to change the wallpaper, and a checkbox to set a loop for the video. Create a Live Photo wallpaper in iOS and in case of a crash whenever you try to select a photo for the wallpaper, disable "Loop" in the app.
Using Blossom to enable a video wallpaper will consume the same amount of battery as running a Live Photo. The video length is capped at 5 seconds due to system limitations; extending this duration would necessitate deeper modifications to the SpringBoard. Blossom by inyourwalls was released under the AGPL-3.0 license.
Information: Blossom supports only iOS 17.0 and can replace Live wallpapers with a video on non-jailbroken devices using TrollStore. Previous iOS releases are not supported.
How to install Blossom IPA on iPhone using TrollStore
Blossom can be sideloaded on your iPhone or iPad using the TrollStore IPA installer. Download the most recent version of Blossom IPA offering the latest version of the app to tweak wallpapers.
Here's how to install Blossom IPA on iPhone:
Step 1. Install TrollStore on iOS following how to install TrollStore 2 guide.
Step 2. Download Blossom IPA from the link at the top of this page.
Step 3. Open TrollStore from your Home Screen.
Step 4. Import Blossom IPA to TrollStore.
Step 5. Proceed with the installation process.
Step 6. Open the Settings app and enter the Privacy & Security.
Step 7. In the Security section follow Developer Mode.
Step 8. Enable Developer Mode and restart your device.
Step 9. Connect your iPhone to a PC or Mac and Turn On Developer Mode.
Step 10. Open Blossom from the Home Screen.
