Janus A12+ Tethered Activator
A new tethered iCloud activator called the Janus A12+ has just been released for iPhone XS to iPhone 15 Pro models. While it works, it does come with a few limitations, similar to other tools on the market: no SIM support, FaceTime, iMessage, Apple Pay, or Notifications. Still, it's great to convert a bricked device into a Wi-Fi model.

What is Janus A12+?
Janus A12+ is a new tethered activator designed for modern devices, ranging from the iPhone XR/XS to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This tool allows you to activate these devices and convert them into Wi-Fi-only models, similar to an iPad. However, it disables features like mobile data, Apple Pay, phone calls, and Notifications.
Despite these limitations, Janus A12+ can turn a bricked device into a functional Wi-Fi-only model with access to the App Store and iCloud Sync. This means you can download and install apps and games directly from the App Store without needing to sideload IPA files. Janus A12+ supports iOS 16 and iOS 17.
Janus A12+ Tethered Activator requires users to reactivate their device each time it restarts or runs out of battery. However, as long as your device remains charged, you can continuously enjoy its Wi-Fi features. Keep in mind that reactivation requires a computer, so you'll need one on hand whenever your device needs to be restarted.
Factory activation seems to kick it back out after 6 hours. The device will relock itself after the period automatically. Reactivation of your iDevice requires a computer.
Janus, the developer behind this iCloud bypass software, has released the Janus A12+ Tethered Activator as a free trial. This allows you to bypass the "iPhone Locked to Owner" screen once at no cost. After that, any additional bypass attempts will require a one-time payment of $25 for unlimited tethered activations.
Unfortunately, some users tried to exploit the free activation feature by faking serial numbers, so the Janus A12+ Tethered Activator no longer offers a free test activation. This policy might change in the future, but for now, free activation is not available. Janus A12+ provides a link where you can add your S/N on a Telegram account.
The software has been proven to work by users in the Reddit thread titled "Release of Janus A12+ Tethered Activator." Users have shared their experiences and confirmed their effectiveness in bypassing the iCloud lock on supported devices. There are also some videos showing Janus A12+ in action.
The activation process using Janus A12+ Activator isn't instant. First, you need to contact the developer and provide it's serial number for activation. Then you can connect your iPhone or iPad to your MacBook and click on Tethered Activation. Batch time is typically 24-48 hours, but in some circumstances will be as long as 72 hrs.
There have also been claims that on iOS versions 16.0 to 16.5 and 17.0 to 17.5.1, there’s a good chance that the activation could become untethered and include signal support. This would allow iPhones to function without needing to reactivate after each restart and enable features like mobile data and phone calls.
