TrollLEDs, introduced by PoomSmart in 2024, continues to evolve with ongoing development, introducing a plethora of new features and customization options. This innovative application primarily focuses on controlling the individual flashlight LEDs on iOS devices, offering dynamic control over both amber and standard white lighting. Devices with a single-color flashlight LED are not supported.

TrollLEDs was released as a TIPA package that can be downloaded from GitHub. Alternatively, use the direct Install to download the app automatically with TrollStore. This feature requires you to enable the URL Scheme from TrollStore Settings. TrollLEDs was also released as DEB packages for a jailbroken environment running iOS 12 – iOS 16. What is TrollLEDs?

TrollLEDs is a versatile application enabling users to manage the individual flashlight LEDs of their iOS devices. Compatible with iOS versions 12 through 17.0, it empowers users to customize their lighting experience. Notably, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, and iPhone 14 series and later models are not supported. TrollLEDs was released as a jailbreak app and as a TrollStore package.

Once installed, TrollLEDs integrates a dedicated icon onto your Home Screen, granting easy access to the application. Upon opening, users are presented with sliders, facilitating precise control over the LEDs. There is also an option to force the system to use only TrollLEDs to control LEDs. The latest update introduces support for App shortcuts on iOS 16 and newer devices. This enhancement empowers users to utilize Siri for controlling the light.

These sliders correspond to individual LEDs: LED 0 governs the brightness of the first white LED. LED 1 adjusts the brightness of the second white LED, if available. For amber LEDs: LED 0 regulates the brightness of the first amber LED. LED 1 controls the brightness of the second amber LED, if present. Each slider can be adjusted independently.

Unlike the Amber tweak, this application does not have the capability to simultaneously activate both LEDs. While you can adjust the brightness of the LEDs using the Torch Level slider, similar to the functionality available in the Control Center, the Warmth slider is specifically designed to set the warmth percentile of the scene, offering distinct control over lighting characteristics.

TrollLEDs for TrollStore is an application to control individual flashlight LEDs for iOS devices. When used on a jailbroken device, remove Amber tweak because this app will simply be overridden by it. TrollLEDs was released under an MIT license through GitHub.

TrollLEDs was released as a DEB package, designed specifically for jailbreaks compatible with iOS 12 through iOS 16. The developer has meticulously crafted versions tailored for iDevices utilizing arm and arm64 architectures. Installing the DEB package is straightforward: simply download it onto your device and transfer it to your preferred package manager, such as Sileo.

To install TrollLEDs on your jailbroken device (rootful and rootless), follow the steps:

1. Open the Sileo app from the Home Screen.
2. Tap on the Sources tab, then select Edit.
3. Download the TrollLEDs DEB and send it to Sileo.
4. Install the TrollLEDs package.
5. To apply all changes, respiring your iPhone.
6. Open the TrollLEDs app from your Home Screen.
