What is TrollAppDuplicator?
TrollAppDuplicator is a new application for TrollStore, developed by the talented zznQ. Its main purpose is to let you easily duplicate apps installed via TrollStore on iOS 15 – iOS 17.0. This allows you to run multiple instances of the same app simultaneously, something that isn't possible with the standard iOS.
The app interface is simple and streight forward. When you launch TrollAppDuplicator it will list all installed apps using TrollStore. You can tap on an app to start the duplication process. TrollAppDuplicator will generate a new IPA that can be installed using TrollStore. Version 1.1 brings an option to set a custom input application name.
TrollAppDuplicator was released as an open-source project available on the official developers' GitHub Repository. Everyone interested can easily view how it works in the background. TrollAppDuplicator was written using Objective-C programming language. However, the TrollAppDuplicator IPA isn't released through there.
This iOS app duplicator for TrollStore features a simple and user-friendly interface. While there’s room for polish and added fun, it’s fully functional. It provides an easy-to-navigate list of your installed TrollStore apps, showing the app icon, installed version, and bundle ID. There is also a shortcut to all duplicated IPAs for quick access.
TrollAppDuplicator decrypts in the background installed apps and allows to modify the bundle ID of the selected app. This allows you to install the application again as a new unique application in its own container.
It uses TrollDecrypt, when decrypting installed applications directly on your iDevice. This allows TrollAppDuplicator to save the decrypted apps as IPA packages, which then can be modified to run as a new app on iOS. This method is nothing new and has been around for years.
The trick is using different bundle IDs. Normally, if two apps have the same bundle ID, the system would replace the old app with the new one. But by using different bundle IDs, the system treats them as separate apps. This way, you can run multiple instances of the same app on your device.
TrollAppDuplicator application makes the process even easier for TrollStore devices. You must have TrollStore on a compatible iOS version to install and use this app. I would definitely recommend to use this app for WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, and other messaging apps.
