What is SuperIcons?

SuperIcons is a simple application for TrollStore designed to change app icons installed with the amazing IPA installer. Customizing app icons allows you to make your device feel more personal and unique. You can match icons with a specific theme, color scheme, or aesthetic that suits your style.

The first version of SuperIcons was released last month, and since then, the developer has rolled out several updates with some great improvements. Initially, SuperIcons was designed to replace only the icons of apps installed with TrollStore. However, starting with version X.X, it also supports apps installed through the App Store. Unfortunately, you still can't replace the default icons for stock apps.

SuperIcons works with iOS 14 to iOS 16 on all TrollStore devices. The most recent version 2.0 offers support for all AppStore applications (Asspp is not supported) and fixed the issue that the list does not update after the icon is modified (restart App). A new automatic processing scheme according to APP type was implemented.

Additionally, the developer made several improvements, including adding buttons to access the author’s channel for feedback and suggestions and removing a confusing pop-up window to make the app more user-friendly. He also fixed an issue where some apps were missing from the list by changing the acquisition method.

A reminder was added to indicate when an app isn't supported, along with a warning pop-up for iOS 17. The update also addressed the abnormal display of most app icons and fixed apps not appearing in the list bug.

Lastly, a new feature was introduced for selecting replacement icons from albums or files, and the operation that required jumping to TrollStore was removed. SuperIcons was released under MIT license is the source code of this app is available via the GitHub Repository. The tool was written in Swift and Objective-C.
