In 2007, Sticktron introduced Croutons, a tweak designed to substitute breadcrumb link text with app icons. Originally compatible with iOS 9 and iOS 10, this innovative tweak has since evolved. For users seeking similar functionality on iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 and later versions, consider downloading Croutons13 by Burrit0z.

What is Croutons13?

Croutons13 tweak is a free jailbreak add-on that adds to breadcrumb links icon of the app you came from. The tweak is compatible with iOS and iPadOS running on iOS 13 and iOS 14. When enabled, Croutons13 replaces the text in breadcrumb with an app icon.

Breadcrumb link appears in the Status Bar as a string of text with a left-pointing arrow beside it. You can see this link when tapping on a link in an app or opening a new app, as this usually kicks you into the App Store or Safari, but other apps may also apply in certain circumstances.

Once installed, the Croutons13 tweak adds a new preference pane to the Settings app from where you can configure all options to your liking. There is an option to enable the tweak, change icon size, and a button to respring your device to apply all changes.
