Wipera1n is a handy tool for checkm8 that lets you erase your device without having to update to the newest iOS version. This comes in handy if your device won't start up properly or if you want to do a fresh install of your current firmware without being forced to update. Wipera1n is available for Mac only and is compatible with checkm8 devices.

Download

Wipera1n is a package you can download for free. It includes some of the best open-source tools used in jailbreak and iCloud bypass apps, plus it has an easy-to-use visual interface. Download the latest version of Wipera1n 1.3 with added support for the iPhone 5s.

What is Wipera1n?

Wipera1n makes it easy to erase your iPhone without forcing you to update to the newest iOS version. Many tools like Finder, iTunes, and other third-party software usually only let you restore by updating to the latest iOS. However, if you prefer to keep using an older iOS version for easier hacking, bypassing, or jailbreaking, this might not be the best option.

This tool wipes your iPhone clean, but it keeps the old iOS software even if it's not officially signed anymore. You don't have to jailbreak your phone or use any SHSH blobs. Just put your device into DFU Mode, and you're ready to start the wiping process.

Wipera1n works with all checkm8 compatible devices released since the iPhone 6s to the iPhone X. The latest version, 1.3, now also supports the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. However, these older iPhones are still being tested, so there might be a few more updates in the future.

Wipera1n software can't be opened by double-clicking. Instead, you need to use the terminal app to cd into the directory and type './Wipera1n' to open it. Then, just click on "Start Erase!" to begin wiping your iDevice, and follow the instructions. Entering DFU mode will be required.

Packed with a variety of useful tools, some of the tools included are gaster, iBoot64Patcher, img4tool, iproxy, irecovery, sshpass, idevicepair, and ideviceinfo. Wipera1n was developed by Always Apple FTD. His other tools can be found on his official website.
